Woodgreen is a quiet little village located within the New Forest National Park.  A very pretty traditional village with thatched cottages sitting around the open forest lawn where the ponies and cattle graze.  Godshill Wood frames the common and offers a tranquil walk under cover of the trees.

 

The Horse and Groom public house stands in the centre of the village and offers good food, ales and a friendly atmosphere, it is within walking distance of Little Acorns.

 

Woodgreen Community Shop sells local produce, snacks, papers, homemade cakes, gifts and much more.  It's well worth a visit!

 

Woodgreen Village Hall is famous for it's murals depicting village life in the 1930's, they may be viewed by appontment.

 

Just take time out and walk down to the River Avon and watch time float by!
